WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE ARCHITECTURAL SPACE? WHAT ABOUT IT MAKES IT SPECIAL TO YOU?

The Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture by David Adjaye.  The museum is special because the building itself tells a great story of the perseverance and strength of Black men and women in American and across the diaspora.  Also, instead of highlighting the great views of DC, the building looks within and asks its visitors to do the same.

TRAVELS: WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO VISIT?

I love traveling around the Caribbean.  My family is from the Bahamas; so when I travel to the islands, I always feel at peace.

FAVORITE QUOTE? WHO SAID IT?

“A man who stands for nothing will fall for anything.” – Malcolm X
