Istanbul, Turkey. Specifically Fatih neighborhood; the old mosques, cobblestone streets, going to the bazaars, and the food. Nothing comes close to the food.

Can't pick one... Grave of the Fireflies and The Usual Suspects. A heart-wrenching story of brotherly love and the best surprise ending, respectively.

WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE ARCHITECTURAL SPACE? WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL TO YOU?

Fatih Cami (Fatih Mosque). There aren't words that can describe the feeling of being under the main dome, it is awe-inspiring and humbling all at the same time. I love the dedicated women's space on the second floor, the elevation gives a sense of privacy and intimate inclusion during prayer. Even the dichotomy of the heavy exterior to the airy-ness of the interior emphasizes how special the volume of space is. It is something that needs to be experienced in person and felt in the soul.
