c|a ARCHITECTS congratulates Roselyn Schwichtenberg, ASID, CHID, CID, LEED AP for passing the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers (AAHID) Examination and earning the prestigious Certified Healthcare Interior Designer Certificate. She now adds CHID to her long list of professional credentials.
Earning the CHID credential signifies that Roselyn has met the standards for education, experience and examination and is a board certified healthcare interior designer. The rigorous assessment requiring examinees to demonstrate competence in a variety of aspects that affect the healthcare interior environment. The examination covers acute care, ambulatory care/outpatient, long term care/senior living, medical facilities/other, retail/hospitality, support services, allied professions, codes and guidelines, environmental, evidence based design and professional business practice.
Roselyn graduated from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising – Los Angeles) with an Associate Degree in Interior Design and received a Master of Health Administration from USC (University of Southern California). She has worked in the interior design field for 23 years. In her current position with c|a ARCHITECTS, she has been involved in the interior design of such projects as the Health & Wellness Pavilion at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center and the Todd Cancer Institute at Long Beach Medical Center. She is currently crafting the interior experience at the Children’s Village at Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach.
