CANCER CENTER
The Donald and Priscilla Hunt Cancer Institute at Torrance Memorial
Torrance Memorial A Cedars-Sinai Affiliate
The Hunt Cancer Center is the South Bay’s first standalone cancer center, with over 37,000 square feet of care space, atop underground parking, located on the Torrance Memorial Campus. The OSHPD III center is the new home of Torrance Memorial Physician Network Cancer Care, an acclaimed oncology group, serving the cancer patients and their families of the South Bay for over 50 years. More than tripling the size of the current practice, the clinic spaces now feature spacious exam rooms. These rooms allow practitioners, patients and multiple family members to have an interactive environment for the discussion and diagnosis of their care.
The center’s second floor has a 32-station infusion center, surrounded by tall windows that allow natural light to reach into the core of the treatment spaces. Each station is set up for a single patient and generous in size, providing ample space for family members to remain with loved ones during treatment. The patient areas have space for reclining and access to an integrated infotainment system.
Conveniently located adjacent to the Polak Imaging Pavilion, diagnostic imaging is added as a part of a comprehensive facility.
