CENTRAL UTILITY PLANT

Central Utility Plant

Los Alamitos Medical Center

The project involves an approximately 11,600 SF two-story free-standing Central Utility Plant (CUP) designed to serve the existing hospital (167 bed / 121,748 square feet) with planned space and utilities to support a future 4-story Patient tower (153 bed / approx. 176,000 square feet) building located south of CUP. The utilities serving the existing hospital will be spanning over the active Kaylor Street via a utility bridge. The utilities for the future patient tower will be terminated at an underground vault located south of the CUP, in preparation for the future campus development.

Currently in Bidding Phase of Construction.
