LABOR AND DELIVERY
Labor and Delivery
Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center
Kaiser Woodland Hills Labor and Delivery had outgrown its existing environment, so a relocation provided the perfect opportunity to both increase the number of LDRP rooms, and more importantly, enhance the experience for expecting mothers. Previously separated by wings, the new space plan creates one unified department with centralized services. This configuration improved operational efficiencies and allowed for the expansion from one to six LDRP rooms, 16 post-partum beds, two new C-section delivery rooms and four triage rooms. A hotel-inspired aesthetic with soothing spa colors supports the marketability of the space.
