As an integral component of a first level reconfiguration project, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles wanted to integrate an updated inpatient pharmacy. Utilizing LEAN methodology and integrating state-of-the-art automation, the design team streamlined the pharmacy process for the hospital. The new 4,400-square-foot space provides an expanded service offering and improved, efficient operations. The new project enhances tracking, security and efficiency to better serve the 495-bed hospital.
